“Pop in and out” menu for Friday 24th June

Amuse bouche

Starters
(all come with home-made bread)

  • Grilled ribbon baby courgette and artichoke served with lemon, dill and chili dressing
  • Pan fried mackerel filet served with an Eynsham gooseberry and elderflower sauce
  • Roasted goats cheese, prosciutto and walnut salad with a honey dressing

Mains

  • Spicy urid dahl with coconut and spinach, crispy paneer, Indian spiced greens, rice and minty yoghurt
  • Megrim (whole or filet depending on size), pan fried with burnt butter, lemon and capers, roasted new potatoes, seasonal veg
    (only available for “pop out” if you are happy to pan fry the fish)
  • Slow roast belly pork with fennel seeds, Szechuan pepper and star anise served with gravy, braised fennel, carrots and roasted new potatoes
  • Chicken baked with chorizo, olives, preserved lemon and tomatoes served with patatas bravas and greens

Puddings

  • Lemoncello steamed pudding served with warm lemon sauce and cream
  • Tarta Santiago (Galician almond cake with a hint of cinnamon) served with crème fraiche
  • Summer berry kombucho jelly, topped with cream and sprinkled with a herby lime crunchy sugar (definitely worth trying)

Something sweet to go with coffee
