This week at Cornucopia Cooks

April 10, 2022 By Sandy

Monday 11th April 2022

  • Summer is on it’s way. Are you planning a party and worrying about how to find time to fit in food preparation?
How about outsourcing to Cornucopia – you know it makes sense! Take a look at some menus to get the thought processes moving.
  • Dates for the next “pop in” and “pop out” will be coming soon. There is a slight delay as Harriet has been offered a fabulous job which embraces her horticultural skills and will no longer be available. I am currently looking for a person who is “prepared” ( πŸ™‚ ) to fill this role – as soon as this happens, dates will materialise.
  • What are you thinking of eating for Easter. If it’s lamb,  have a read of this article from the Sustainable Food Trust before deciding.
  • Looking for some Easter menu inspiration?
How about this slow cooked belly pork recipe with fennel seeds and Szechuan pepper or this delicious Swiss chard, tamarind and chick pea stew. finished with a rhubarb, orange and juniper meringue pie.

Cooking this week:
Apologies for no cooking list this week. I had planned many yummy dishes for the Easter weekend, but unfortunately I currently have Covid (mild symptoms) and do not want to risk letting anyone down should I not test clear in time.
