November’s “pop out” restaurant at home

October 9, 2020 By Sandy

Friday 6th November

Orders / bookings open Monday 12th October
Please check the notes below the menu before ordering
Full instructions on how to finish and garnish each dish will be provided via a video (nothing too complicated)
You can choose two or three courses from the menu:
2 courses will be £21.50
3 courses will be £25.00
Whether you choose 2 or 3 courses you will have an amuse bouche, something sweet to follow the meal

We have a retro option this month – the first item of each course should take you back to the 70’s , whether you were around then or not, the iconic dishes are in our DNA 🙂

Amuse bouche

Starters

  • Classic prawn cocktail
  • Grilled pigeon breast and roasted beetroot salad with a blackberry whisky dressing
  • Goats cheese filo, drizzled with Oxfordshire honey and a mixed leaf and herb salad

Mains

  • Coq au vin, dauphinoise potatoes, seasonal veg
  • Slow cooked lamb shoulder with Moroccan spices served with garlic sauce, citrus and pomegranate couscous and roasted squash
  • Thai fish parcel served with sticky rice and sesame greens
  • Celeriac, hazelnut and lentil ragout served with celeriac and potato mash, seasonal veg

Puddings

  • Black forest gateau served with double cream (like you’ll need it :))
  • Tart tatin served with crème fraiche
  • Vanilla panna cotta with a hazelnut chocolate sauce

Something sweet to go with coffee
