October’s “pop out” restaurant at home

Orders / bookings open Monday 14th September
Please check the notes below the menu before ordering
Full instructions on how to finish and garnish each dish will be provided via a video (nothing too complicated)
You can choose two or three courses from the menu:
2 courses will be £21.50
3 courses will be £25.00
Whether you choose 2 or 3 courses you will have an amuse bouche, something sweet to follow the meal

Menu

Amuse bouche

Starters
All served with home-made bread

  • Toad gin and juniper gravlax with lightly pickled beetroot
  • Roasted fig and prosciutto salad served with a mixed leaf and herb salad
  • A creamy wild mushroom and brandy ragout served with a mini potato rosti

Mains

  • Baked hake steak with saffron cream sauce and crispy leeks, seasonal veg and parmentier potatoes (cubes of potato roasted in olive oil)
  • Beef brisket bloody Mary, celeriac and potato mash, seasonal veg
  • Chicken sofrito (chicken baked on the bone with lemon, tumeric, onions, lemon and garlic on a bed of melting potato chunks) served with seasonal veg
  • Chickpea and okra confit served with pilau rice and autumn greens

Puddings

  • Treacle tart served with clotted cream
  • Berry and kombucho jelly with cucumber topped with cream and lime and herb sugar
  • Pear poached in Marsala with a chocolate sauce
