  • There are 4 places left for this Thursday’s  dining club, (29th October), the food theme will be a celebration of all things British – click here for the menu….
  • Next week is the last pop up “wine bar” of 2015 – unbelievable! The food theme is South East Asian and the wines – well – divine selection as ever….
  • 3 delicious beetroot recipes from Yotam O. I tried the kholrabi one and had it with some marinated herring – yum….
  • Sugar is in the news a lot at the moment – the Telegraph ran 3 interesting stories last week:
    Report on sugar tax suppressed buy government;
    Arguments in support of a sugar tax;
    Arguments for not having a sugar tax.

Cooking this week:

  • Carrot, red lentil and coriander soup @ £2.50 for 450ml portion 
     (veggie, dairy, gluten free) (order fresh or frozen)
  • Slow cooked guinea fowl with a puy lentil, pancetta and mushroom ragout @ £6.35 per 400g portion
    (gluten free)(order fresh or frozen)
  • Meatballs made with ground beef, milano salami and parmesan in a tomato sauce @ £6.35per 380g portion 
    (order fresh or frozen)
  • Cheesey tuna, olive and sundried tomato bake @ £6.00 per 500g portion
    (order fresh or frozen)
  • “Luxury” Sausage Rolls @ £2.20 each
    (order fresh or frozen) 
  • Plenty to choose from in the freezer, take a peek @ £3.00 each 
     (order fresh )

If you don’t see anything you fancy, but would like a quick fix, check out what I have in the freezer.
If you have a specific dish in mind, let me know, I may be-able to make it for you this week, and with notice can (in most cases) add it to a future weeks cooking list.

  • All foods are freshly made by me, using fresh and where possible local ingredients and suppliers,
  • If you have any food intolerances or allergies, let me know and I may be-able to omit/substitute certain ingredients – all shortcrust pastry can be diary and or gluten free if pre-ordered.

All orders in by 9am Thursday 29th October
I always make a bit extra so if you miss the deadline, give me a call or call into the shop on Friday….
