  • The arrival of September sees this month’s  wine bar “popping up” on Friday – we hope you can make it, we’ll be optimistic about the weather, confident that the wines and food will not disappoint..
  • Cornucopia is taking a kitchen break as part of the vital, self imposed, ongoing food research program. The kitchen will be closed from Wednesday 9th September until Monday 28th September.
  • A reminder that September’s dining club will be 1 week late (due to that research), Thursday 1st October – let me know if you would like to book. The theme is going to be Sicilian inspired (guess where the research is taking place..).

Cooking this week:

  • Chorizo and butterbean soup @ £2.50 for 450ml portion
    (dairy freee, can be veggie if requested, otherwise made with chicken stock) (order fresh or frozen)
  • Lasagna @ £5.85 per 400g portion
    (made with a rich beef sauce with a touch of pork, home-made lasagna and a creamy white sauce)(order fresh or frozen)
  • Lamb tagine with apricots and dates @ £6.35 per 450g portion 
    (gluten, wheat and dairy free)(order fresh or frozen)
  • Butternut squash, chick pea and spinach tagine @ £6.00 per 400g
    (gluten, wheat and dairy free )(order fresh or frozen)
  • Pomegranate and orang couscous available – please ask
  • “Luxury” Sausage Rolls @ £2.20 each
    (order fresh or frozen)
  • Tiramisu @ £6.00 each
    (plenty for 2, enough for 3) (order fresh)

If you don’t see anything you fancy, but would like a quick fix, check out what I have in the freezer.
If you have a specific dish in mind, let me know, I may be-able to make it for you this week, and with notice can (in most cases) add it to a future weeks cooking list.

  • All foods are freshly made by me, using fresh and where possible local ingredients and suppliers,
  • If you have any food intolerances or allergies, let me know and I may be-able to omit/substitute certain ingredients – all shortcrust pastry can be diary and or gluten free if pre-ordered.

All orders in by 9am Thursday 3rd September
I always make a bit extra so if you miss the deadline, give me a call or call into the shop on Friday….
