Cooking classes

January 6, 2020 By Sandy

People frequently ask about cooking classes and what classes I do.
My answer is often a bit ambiguous as a cooking class means different things to different people, so I thought I would try and put in writing how my cooking classes work..

To start with I “collect” people who have similar interests, for example Thai cooking.

When I have 3 or 4 people who have a similar interest are “collected” I contact them and we arrange a date mutually convenient for all.

Now people choose to do classes for many different reasons:

  • to learn new skills;
  • to meet new people;
  • relaxation;
  • inspiration;
  • etc…

My classes can fulfil all these reasons providing I understand what you want to achieve.
We can discuss the science behind what we are cooking, the history, the sourcing of ingredients, fitting cooking into busy lives, etc….

The overarching aim is that at the end of any session you have:

  • had an enjoyable time;
  • gained more confidence;
  • produced items you are proud to take home and share with friends and family;
  • put what you have learnt into practice and pass your enthusiasm onto others.

So, if you are interested in a cooking class, get in touch for a chat, let me know what you would like to achieve and I will add you to one of my  lists.

Click here to go straight to my cooking class page which details some of the classes I do – this list is by no means exhaustive.

Don’t just think about it, do it…..
Or you could just watch another cooking programme on TV….?
