Eynsham wine bar menu and deli plates

Tonights specials:

Haddock fish cake served with tapenade @ £5.75
Croque monsieur (with or without ham) @ £6.95
Croque madame (with or without ham, topped with a fried egg) @ £7.50
Beef bourguignon or oyster mushroom bourguignon (with shallots, red wine and button mushroom) served with dauphinoise potatoes and spring cabbage @ £11.95

Tonights puddings:

A platter of fresh fruit and other delights and melted chocolate for dipping
Tart tatin served with Fresh double Jersey cream

Deli plates (example only): each plate is plenty as a supper for one, or to share; the content changes slightly for each “pop up”. All served with home-made bread.

Morris platter                 £10.75

  • Mini serving of beef bourgignon and dauphinoise pots
  • Pork terrine and chutney
  • A selection of saucisson
  • Pickle selection
  • Onions marinated in balsamic vinegar
  • Sundried tomatoes

Thames platter                £12.50

  • Mini fishcake with tapenade dip
  • Haddock and cod goujons with a herby dip
  • Smoked salmon, black pepper, lemon
  • Bloody Mary prawns Marie Rose
    Smoked mackerel pate
  • Caperberries

Abbey platter (vegetarian)  @ £10.75

  • Mini croque madame (veggie, with quails egg)
  • Mini mushroom bourguignon
  • Sundried tomatoes
  • Pickle selection
  • Balsamic onion
  • Cheese and chutney
  • Olives

 Cornucopia deli cheese plate        £10.75

  • A selection of four cheeses
  • Caperberries
  • Cornucopia’s  pear and fig chutney
  • Grapes and celery sticks
  • Choose home-made oat cakes or bread

Sides:

  • Extra bread                                                          £1.50
  • Pork terrine served with pickles, chutney and home-made bread   £5.25
